Samsung introduced two Galaxy Note10 with a new stylus and 5G
As part of the Galaxy Unpacked 2019, Samsung introduced two flagship smartphones of the Galaxy Note10 series. As expected, they are almost identical in design, but differ in size and some important characteristics.
The base Galaxy Note10 received a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels, HDR10 + support and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy Note10 + model has the same matrix, but the diagonal is already 6.8 inches, and the resolution is 3040 × 1440 pixels.
In the upper part of the display, both smartphones have a hole for the front camera of 10 megapixels. The main cameras on smartphones are slightly different. So, Note10 was equipped with sensors of 12 megapixels (OIS), 12 megapixels (double zoom, OIS) and 16 megapixels (123 °), and Note10 + in addition to this trio also received a ToF-sensor for creating three-dimensional models of objects.
Exynos 9825 processors are responsible for the performance of the devices. The amount of RAM is 8 or 12 GB, and the built-in memory is 256. There is a possibility of expansion using microSD cards. The Note10 + version also received a separate modification with a new modem for working in 5G networks.
Batteries for smartphones have different capacities: Galaxy Note10 has 3,600 mAh, while Note10 + has 4,300 mAh. Both support fast charging of up to 45 watts of power via the USB-C port and wireless recharge in both directions.
Galaxy Note10 and Note10 + received the updated S Pen Bluetooth stylus with a six-axis gyroscope and autonomy up to 10 hours. You can use it not only for handwriting, but also for remote control of the smartphone’s camera, as well as gesture control of applications.
For example, with the movements of the stylus, you can change the shooting modes without touching the screen. Draw a circle in the air – the camera activates the zoom. Other functions can be configured in the same way. SDK to implement such features will be available to all developers.
Among other interesting features of the smartphone, it is worth noting the protection of the case from moisture and dust (IP68) and AKG stereo speakers. The standard 3.5 mm audio jack has disappeared, so the adapter with USB Type-C will be supplied.
The smartphone can be connected to a PC or Mac to work in desktop mode using only one USB cable. Synchronization is available directly from the quick settings menu. On the computer screen you can see notifications, send messages or manage a photo album.
Smartphones are already available for pre-order in Russia at a price of 76 990 rubles for Galaxy Note10 and 89 990 rubles for Galaxy Note10 +.
