Reviews of the flagship Pixel 4 from Google appeared on the web before the announcement
About a month is left before the release of the new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, and Google does not seem to even try to resist leaks. If before we saw mostly renders and low-quality photos, now there are three video reviews on YouTube in which smartphones appeared in all their glory (and 1080p).
Previously, Google itself revealed the design of the back panel, and new videos showed how the smartphone will look from all sides. And it is not surprising that the top-end smartphone runs on the recently announced Android 10. The video also showed the updated camera application.
There are not so many unique settings for “pixels” here – Ambient EQ (dynamic adjustment of display brightness and temperature), Pixel proprietary themes and a new feature called Screen attention. If you enable the latter, the screen will light up and show the time and notifications when the phone detects a user nearby – a peculiar variation of AlwaysOn displays. In the settings menu, you can also select a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz.
In the video from the Rabbit TV channel, all three colors of the Pixel 4 are visible: white, black and coral. The black model is glossy, while the matte ones are light and will not catch fingerprints so much.
The presentation of the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is due to take place in October. The exact date of the announcement has not yet been disclosed.
