How to sign out of Gmail on a device you don’t have access to
We checked mail in Gmail from a computer in the library or from a friend’s smartphone, but forgot to leave the account? Not a problem: you can log out remotely. Here's how to do it.
If you logged in from a computer
Sign in to Gmail through a browser on your computer.
In the lower right corner of the page, click "Additional Information".
You will see all the devices and applications that are currently logged into your account. Click Log Out of All Other Gmail Sessions.
If you logged in from a mobile device
Go to your Google Account Settings.
Open the "Security" section and scroll to the "Your devices" item.
Click “Manage Devices” to see all the gadgets with access to your account.
Select the device from which you want to log out, and click "Close access".
Done! Now only you can log into your Gmail account. Your data is safe.
