How to include a new really dark theme on Twitter on Android
Twitter for Android received a new theme called Lights Out, which appeared in the web version of the service in July. Unlike the night mode, which was before, it uses black for decoration, not blue-gray. This saves power on smartphones with OLED displays (and it really works).
The theme is already available on all smartphones that support the system dark theme. To activate it, just switch the smartphone to dark mode and Twitter will automatically change color. However, if you don’t like the black theme, and battery saving is not particularly interesting, in the settings you can return the gray or standard light theme.
To do this, open "Settings and Privacy" → "Screen and Sound." To return to the light theme, click "Night Mode" and select "Disable", for gray, select "Dim Mode" in the "Dark Mode View" option.
If you like the dark design, forget to put the appropriate screen saver: you can find interesting options in our selection.
