Hisense introduced two smartphones with E-Ink screens. One in the style of YotaPhone
The Chinese company Hisense has released two unusual smartphones. Both received E-Ink screens, with one having an additional one, and the other with a single one.
The first novelty is Hisense A6L. This is a YotaPhone-style model with two displays. The main one has an IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 6.53 inches and a resolution of FHD +. The second, on the reverse side of the device, is made using E-Ink technology, it is slightly smaller – 5.84 inches with a resolution of HD +.
A 20 MP selfie camera is located in the tear-shaped cutout of the color screen, and a dual main camera, at 24 and 8 MP, is located under the monochrome one. The heart of Hisense A6L is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, supplemented with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The battery is 3,800 mAh with charging via USB-C. The price of new items amounted to 2,799 yuan (≈25,300 rubles).
The second smartphone is Hisense A5. He received only one E-Ink display with a diagonal of 5.84 inches and a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 with 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal memory is responsible for the performance. The battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh.
The main camera of the smartphone is 13 megapixels, and the front camera is 5 megapixels. Also an interesting feature of the device was the integrated DAC ESS Saber ES9318. It costs a smartphone from 1,199 yuan (≈10,800 rubles).
