Autonomy iPhone 11 and Pixel 4 XL compared on video
Yutuber PhoneBuff continues to compare new smartphones from Apple and Google in different ways. He recently compared the speed of the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Pixel 4 XL, but now a new video has been released on his channel: iPhone 11 vs Google Pixel 4 XL in the test for autonomy.
These two models were chosen, because they are quite similar in terms of characteristics. The iPhone 11 was equipped with a battery of 3 110 mAh, while the “pixel” has a larger battery with a capacity of 3,700 mAh. The Pixel 4 XL has another advantage in the form of an OLED matrix against IPS in an iPhone. OLED does not highlight black pixels, saving battery power.
At the same time, the iPhone display has a smaller size (6.1 inches versus 6.3 for the Pixel) and a lower resolution, which in theory should put them on the same level of autonomy.
However, this did not help the flagship of Google. The iPhone 11 still had another 14% charge when the Pixel 4 XL was completely discharged. As a result, the iPhone lasted exactly an hour longer – and this is impressive, given the difference in batteries and displays. It will be interesting to see how the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max show themselves in a similar test.
