Asus introduced the new VivoWatch SP, which can measure blood pressure and make an electrocardiogram (ECG). There is also a function for determining the level of oxygen in the blood, counting the pulse and assessing the level of stress.
For all this, two sensors are provided, one of which is located on the inside of the watch, and the second on the side, you need to put a finger to it during measurements.
The case of VivoWatch SP is protected from moisture and dust (5 ATM) – you can swim and take a shower with the watch. Detachable strap with standard mount.
The screen is color. It has an energy-efficient matrix that can reflect light, making the image brighter. Due to this technology, the autonomy of the gadget has been increased to 14 days.
All this is complemented by a GPS chip for saving jogging routes and an altimeter for calculating altitude. All data from the watch is transferred to a proprietary application that will help monitor the effectiveness of training and overall health.
VivoWatch SP will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2019.
