3 life hacks in Google Photos, which not everyone knows about
You can use the service for years, but do not know all its useful functions. Google Photos is no exception. It has many hidden features that some users are not even aware of. Here are just three of them.
We call the number from the photo
To quickly call the phone number from the photo, you do not need to dial it manually. You can open the frame in “Google Photos” and click on the Google Lens icon below – this service will scan the image and highlight everything that may be useful to you, including the phone number. All that remains is to press the call button.
Similarly, switching to a site or searching for a real address on a map works.
Quickly highlight many frames.
If you need to quickly select a few dozen pictures that follow one after another, it is not necessary to click on each photo. It is enough to pinch one extreme and without pulling a finger to hold on all the rest.
Using a pinch, you can zoom the photos so that more frames fit on the screen.
Download all your photos in one archive
All your photos from Google Photos can be downloaded in one large archive. Such a backup is done using the additional service Google Takeout, which allows you to upload all the data associated with your Google account.
To download pictures go to a special page of the service, click on the “Cancel selection” button and activate the switch just opposite “Google Photos”. Then click “Next” at the bottom of the page, select the archive format, size and method of receipt.
